A music quiz for companies is a team competition in which the staff compete in music challenges led by a host, with entertainers and with sound, lighting and screens. At Zenor we do it with Furor: roughly an hour and a half of challenges and music in which the whole group takes part, not just whoever dares to go up. It works at company dinners, conventions and team building days.
What it involves
The room is split into teams, or guys against girls, who compete in different challenges. The host sets the pace, the entertainers cheer each team on, and the music and the screens do the rest. The challenges include the interrupted song, the forbidden lyrics and the final medley, and some of them can be customised for the company.
Furor live
Who hosts it
The host can be Alonso Caparrós, one of our own hosts or a master of ceremonies provided by the company, under our supervision, so that the activity keeps its pace. If there is someone at your company who is comfortable on stage, it can be a good way to get the staff involved.
What we set up depending on the number of guests
Up to 100 people, Furor: sound, robotic lighting with UV and screens, with a host, entertainers and a technician.
Up to 300 people, Furor XL: high-power system, LED screen, more entertainers and live video production.
Large event, Furor + streaming: extended production with video direction and the option of a live online broadcast.
With large groups, the screen helps the whole audience follow the quiz. You will find how its size is worked out in giant LED screens.

What the space needs
A minimum space of 4 × 4 metres for the set-up.
A power socket to connect the equipment.
Adaptation: we adapt to the area and to the set-up time the venue allows.
How it is organised with the company
Brief: how many people are coming, where it is and what you want to achieve, whether that is bringing new teams together, closing a convention on a high or the Christmas party.
Proposal: format, production, host and which challenges are customised.
Set-up: sound, lighting, screens and tests before it starts.
Live: quiz, entertainment and take-down.
When it fits and when it does not
It fits when you want most people to take part and the group is in the mood for a party. If the event is very formal or the audience do not know each other, it sometimes works better to start with something calmer, such as tailor-made stand-up comedy, and leave the quiz for the end. And if you are only looking for music to dance to, a mobile disco is simpler. For the Christmas dinner, also check what equipment a company dinner needs.
Budget
The price depends on the guests, the space and the format, and we adapt to different budgets and needs. You will find more ideas for the event in entertainment corners for company events.
