Frequently asked questions about Zenor Audiovisual

Zenor Audiovisual is a technical event production company based in Albacete covering the whole of Spain, with our own kit and our own technicians. Here we answer the most common questions about services, bookings and payments, cancellations, weather, insurance and quotes. If you cannot find your answer, write to us.

General and coverage

Where does Zenor Audiovisual work?

We are based in Albacete, in the centre of the Iberian Peninsula, and we work throughout Spain. That location lets us reach Madrid, Valencia, Murcia, Alicante, Barcelona and the rest of the country quickly, with travel accounted for in the quote.

What kinds of events do you cover?

Technical production for all kinds of events: corporate events, weddings and celebrations, patron saint festivals and town council events, concerts and experiences such as professional karaoke. If your event does not fit into any of these categories, tell us about it: we will look into it and propose a tailored solution.

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes. We work with our own equipment and our own qualified technicians. We do not subcontract the core of the service: you have a single point of contact and full responsibility for the result, which lets us control quality and timings from start to finish.

Can you cover an event at short notice?

Get in touch as soon as possible by phone, WhatsApp or the contact form. We assess every request according to the availability of the date and of the equipment, and we confirm whether we can cover it.

Services and equipment

What services do you offer?

Professional sound, lighting, LED screens, video and streaming, stages and complete technical production, as well as equipment hire and experiences such as karaoke for events. We can take care of one specific part or of the entire technical production of your event.

Are technical staff included?

Yes. Our services include qualified technical staff: set-up, equipment testing and control during the event. We size the crew according to the type and the scale of each production.

What if I need something that is not in your catalogue?

We will get it for you. Our catalogue covers most needs, but if your event requires additional equipment or services, Zenor sources and integrates them within the same production, with a single point of contact.

How long does the contracted service last?

The performance or service time is the one agreed in the contract, and it does not include the set-up or the take-down of the equipment, which are our responsibility and fall outside that time. If you want to extend it during the event, that is possible by prior agreement between both parties.

Do the set-up and the take-down count as performance time?

No. The set-up, the equipment testing and the take-down do not count within the contracted performance time. We arrive far enough in advance so that, at the agreed time, everything is set up, tested and running.

Bookings and payments

How do I book a date?

The booking is confirmed with payment of 50% of the amount. The remaining 50% is paid once the equipment is set up and tested at the event venue. With the signature and the agreed payment, Zenor blocks that day exclusively for you.

What am I committing to when I sign?

On signing, the client undertakes to pay the amount in the manner agreed and Zenor undertakes to reserve the day of the event. If payment is not made within the agreed period, the full amount of the service will be claimed, with no discounts.

How long is the proforma or the booking valid for?

The proforma invoice and the booking option are valid for 7 working days. If your event date falls within those 7 days, we may request up to 100% of the amount in order to guarantee the date and mobilise the equipment safely.

What happens if I do not pay within the agreed period?

Non-payment within the agreed period entitles Zenor to claim the full amount of the service without applying any discounts. In cases of late payment, Ley 3/2004, de 29 de diciembre, de medidas de lucha contra la morosidad en las operaciones comerciales applies.

Can I change the date of my event?

Contact us as soon as possible and we will look into the change according to the availability of the new date. Bear in mind that the booking blocks a day exclusively, so any modification must be expressly agreed with Zenor.

Cancellations and weather

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. If you cancel up to 7 days before the event, only €50 in administration fees applies. If the cancellation happens less than 7 days in advance, the 50% paid as a booking deposit is lost.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the event?

If the event is called off for weather reasons, Zenor receives 100% of the contracted amount, since the equipment and the staff are mobilised for that date all the same. Whenever it is possible, we will offer you an alternative so that the event is not lost.

Can you move the event to a covered space if it rains?

Yes, provided the move is technically reasonable and is agreed between both parties. If there is a viable covered space, we move the production so that the event goes ahead all the same.

Do you recommend planning an alternative for outdoor events?

Yes. For any outdoor event we recommend planning an alternative covered space from the outset. Our technical team can assess the feasibility of the plan B with you while the event is being prepared.

Legal matters and insurance

Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes. Every Zenor event has compulsory public liability insurance. It is an essential guarantee, especially for town councils, public venues and corporate events.

Can I request the insurance certificate or the invoice?

Yes. You can request the invoice and the public liability insurance certificate from us, documentation that is standard for venues, public authorities and purchasing departments.

What about SGAE and copyright?

Zenor holds agreements with APEK, SGAE and AGEDI for its activity. These agreements do not exempt the venue from holding its own permits and licences, which are the responsibility of the owner of the space.

Does the venue need its own permits?

Yes. The permits and licences of the venue (activity, capacity, opening hours, the space's own copyright declaration) are the responsibility of its owner. Our agreements with the collecting societies cover Zenor's activity; they do not replace the venue's obligations.

Do you sign confidentiality agreements?

Yes. If your event requires it — corporate events, product launches, private celebrations — you can request the signing of a confidentiality agreement with Zenor and its staff.

Are your staff qualified?

Yes. We work exclusively with qualified technical staff with more than 10 years of experience in audiovisual production for weddings, companies and public authorities.

Quotes and invoicing

How do I request a quote?

You can use the intelligent advisor on the website, write to us on WhatsApp or send the contact form. With the details of your event (type, date, town and number of guests), our team prepares a tailored technical and financial proposal.

Does the AI advisor give me prices?

No. The advisor gathers the requirements of your event and recommends solutions from our catalogue, but it never shows prices or confirms availability. Every quote is prepared and approved by a member of the Zenor team before it is sent to you.

Does requesting a quote commit me to anything?

No. Requesting a quote involves no commitment: the booking is only confirmed when you sign and make the agreed payment. Until that moment you can consider the proposal entirely freely.

Why do you not publish fixed prices on the website?

Because every event is different: capacity, venue, timings, technical needs and travel all change how the equipment is sized. We prefer to study your case and give you a real, tailored price rather than a generic rate.

Do you issue invoices?

Yes. All our services are invoiced legally. We issue an invoice detailing the services contracted, and we can provide any additional documentation you need, such as the public liability insurance certificate.

Still have a question?

Tell us about your event and we will prepare a tailored technical proposal, with no commitment.
