How much does it cost to hire a photo booth for a wedding, and what is included

The price of photo booth hire for weddings depends on the format you choose, how many hours it has to run and how far the venue is. At Zenor we work with five formats, and each has a starting pack of up to three hours that already includes travel, set-up and teardown. You will find those starting prices further down. First it helps to know what you are comparing, because a photo booth with prints and a 360 video booth do not give guests the same thing.

The five formats we bring to weddings

• Photo booth: unlimited photos printed on the spot with your wedding design, an album with the photos from the day, a USB stick with all of them in digital format and props for posing.
• 360 video booth: a spinning platform with studio lighting and a red carpet; each video is edited and delivered to the guest by QR code on the spot.
• Magic mirror: a full-length mirror with a touchscreen that guides the guest and prints the photo instantly.
• Enclosed photo booth: the classic curtained booth, which you leave with the traditional photo strip.
• AI photo booth: the guest's photo becomes a portrait in a style we define with you before the wedding, and it is printed and sent by QR.

With every format, one of our team is on site throughout the service. Nobody from the wedding has to stand next to the machine explaining how it works.

Which format suits which wedding

If there are lots of older relatives at the wedding, a printed photo wins. Grandparents are not going to scan a QR code, but they will take the strip home in a handbag and show it round a week later. That is what the classic photo booth and the enclosed booth are for. The enclosed booth has an advantage you notice with shyer guests: nobody is watching inside, and that is where the photo they would never take in the open comes out.

The magic mirror works when you want the whole dress in shot or when groups are large, because it frames full length. The touchscreen guides people step by step, so it works well with guests who have never used a photo booth.

The 360 video booth is for weddings with lots of young guests who will post the video that same night. Note one difference: the pack does not include printing. What guests take away is the video on their phone, and you receive every video at the end. The platform also needs more clear floor space than a booth, because the camera arm turns around whoever is standing on it. It is worth measuring the space before deciding.

The AI photo booth makes sense if the wedding has a clear theme and you would like the portraits to follow it. The style is agreed before the event, not improvised on the night. And if you would rather not choose, there is the full pack with the photo booth and the 360 video booth together plus a custom photocall: at long weddings it splits guests between two spots and the queues are shorter.

What changes the price of a wedding photo booth

Hours come first. Our packs cover up to three hours of service, which at a wedding is usually the stretch after dinner and the first dance. If you also want it during the drinks reception, that means more hours and the quote reflects it.

Prints do not change it. With the photo booth, the magic mirror and the enclosed booth printing is unlimited, so you do not pay per photo and nobody has to ration paper once the open bar starts. Personalising the template with your names and the date is also included in the packs.

Besides hours, what usually changes the price is combining formats, asking for a photocall with your own design, and distance. We set out from Albacete and work all over Spain, and travel is always included in the quote. Even so, a country estate half an hour from our base is not the same as a wedding at the other end of the peninsula.

If any of the formats above is missing from the table, it has no published starting price and we quote it case by case.
