At the 16th Coca-Cola Music Experience, held on 4 and 5 September 2026 at Iberdrola Music in Madrid, Coca-Cola asked us for two pieces for its brand area: a walk of fame with stars on custom-programmed LED floor tiles, and a photo booth built into a vending machine that handed out the printed photo as if it were a can.
What the Coca-Cola Music Experience is
It is Coca-Cola's music festival for young people: most of the audience is between 15 and 24. In 2026 the headliners were Melendi and Wisin, with Dellafuente, Omar Montes, Dei V, Violeta and Ruslana among more than thirty artists. With that audience, every corner of a brand area has to give people a photo or a video to post that same night.
A walk of fame with stars that move
The walkway sat on a black stage platform in front of a mural with the city skyline, the Ferris wheel and the slogan «Refréscate y recarga». On the floor, red stars carried the names of artists on the bill: Wisin, Dellafuente, Dei V, Ruslana.
Between them we set walkable LED tiles under a transparent surface. There the star was not a vinyl print: it was animated content we programmed for the event, with names that kept changing (Coke, Ainhoa, Lola, Luna, Raúl) and that reacted as people walked past. A printed star gets photographed once. One that moves makes people stop, look down and take out their phone.

What an LED screen on the floor needs
An LED floor tile is not a screen lying down. It is built to be walked on, with a non-slip surface, and it has to sit flush with the platform so nobody trips on the edge. Outdoors there is also the sun: just like a standing screen, it needs more brightness than indoors so the image does not wash out.
The content changes too. On a stage screen the audience looks straight ahead from a distance; here they look down, a metre away, with their feet on it. That is why the animated stars were large, with the name easy to read and in the same red as the printed ones, so the walk read as a single piece. If you are thinking about a screen for your event, in how much it costs to hire an LED screen we explain what drives the price.
A photo booth inside a Coca-Cola machine
Next to the walk stood a red Coca-Cola vending machine. From the outside it looked like any other can machine. Inside was a photo booth: the camera took the photo and the machine printed it and dropped it where the can usually falls. Guests walked away with their photo in hand.
Beside the machine, a white wall with the slogan «Comparte aquí tu mejor era» filled up with signatures, and a queue formed in front. That is the advantage of hiding the photo booth in an object everybody recognises: nobody needs to be told what to do.

What can be taken to another event
Both ideas can be adapted to any brand activation. A walkway with LED tiles works at a premiere, a trade fair or a product launch, with whatever content the brand needs. And a photo booth inside one of the brand's own objects, like this machine, turns the keepsake into part of the product. To plan something like this we need the date, the venue, the capacity and what you want people to take home.
